AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY
ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ANYTIME ZONE ALONG THE NORTH CURB OF ANTHONY STREET
BEGINNING; AT 1ST AVENUE RUNNING EAST A DISTANCE OF 480 FEET TO THE DEAD-END;
AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS INDICATING A "NO
PARKING ANYTIME" ZONE; REPEALING CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That it shall be unlawful to park or rank any vehicle at any time along
the following street segment: Anthony Street: On the North Curb beginning at
1st Avenue running east a distance of 480 feet to the dead-end.
SECTION II.
That official traffic control signs shall be installed indicating the
No Parking Anytime Zone described here within Section I.
SECTION III.
That all ordinances or parts of ordinances that are in conflict with
this ordinance are hereby repealed.
Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
14th day of September, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the ____ day of ____, 2010 and adopted at said meeting by
the affirmative vote of _____ members of Council.
