AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY
ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING ZONE ON SCHOOL DAYS ONLY ALONG THE NORTH CURB OF 43RD
STREET BEGINNING AT THE EAST CURB OF RIVER ROAD AND RUNNING EAST A DISTANCE OF
1,084 FEET; AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION OF OFFICIAL TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNS
INDICATING SAID PARKING RESTRICTIONS; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING ORDINANCES AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
It shall be unlawful to park or rank any vehicle along the following street
segment:
43rd Street - a No Parking Zone on School Days only along the north curb
beginning at the East curb of River Road and running East a distance of 1,084
feet.
SECTION II.
That official traffic control signs shall be installed indicating the
parking restrictions described here within.
SECTION III.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus,
Georgia, held on the ______ day of November 2012; introduced a
second time at a regular meeting of said Council held on the day of
December 2012, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
