SUBJECT: Street Acceptance - that portion of Riverbrook Trace,
that portion of Pebblebrook Lane and that portion of Shadybrook Trail
located in Section Two, Riverbrook
INITIATED BY: Engineering Department
Recommendation: Approval is requested for the acceptance of a deed to that
portion of Riverbrook Trace, that portion of Pebblebrook Lane and that portion
of Shadybrook Trail located in Section Two, Riverbrook.
Background: That portion of Riverbrook Trace, that portion of Pebblebrook Lane
and that portion of Shadybrook Trail located in Section Two, Riverbrook has
(15) fifteen residential lots. The streets have been improved and meet the
required specifications for acceptance by the City.
Analysis: A deed has been conveyed to the City conveying that portion of
Riverbrook Trace, that portion of Pebblebrook Lane and that portion of
Shadybrook Trail located in Section Two, Riverbrook. A description of property
is as follows: All those tracts and parcels of land situate, lying and being
in Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and comprising of a portion of
Shadybrook Trail, a portion of Riverbrook Trace and a portion of Pebblebrook
Lane in that certain subdivision known as Section Two, Riverbrook, as said
streets and portions of said streets are shown on map or plat of said
subdivision recorded in Plat Book 162, folio 290 in the office of the Clerk of
Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.
Financial Considerations: No City funds are involved until maintenance is
assumed after the two-year warranty period.
Legal Considerations: In Accordance with Section 18-3 of the Columbus Code,
all dedicated right-of-way must be accepted by Council.
Recommendations/ Actions: Approve the Resolution accepting a deed to that
portion of Riverbrook Trace, that portion of Pebblebrook Lane and that portion
of Shadybrook Trail located in Section Two, Riverbrook.

A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACCEPTANCE OF A DEED TO THAT PORTION OF RIVERBROOK
TRACE, THAT PORTION OF PEBBLEBROOK LANE AND THAT PORTION OF SHADYBROOK TRAIL
LOCATED IN SECTION TWO, RIVERBROOK ON BEHALF OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA.
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia has been submitted a deed conveying that portion of
Riverbrook Trace, that portion of Pebblebrook Lane and that portion of
Shadybrook Trail located in Section Two, Riverbrook, a full description of
property on said deed; and,
WHEREAS, said streets have been improved and meets the required specifications
for acceptance by the City; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has inspected said streets and recommends
acceptance of same.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That certain deed dated September 30, 2010, conveying Columbus, Georgia
that portion of Riverbrook Trace, that portion of Pebblebrook Lane and that
portion of Shadybrook Trail located in Section Two, Riverbrook be and the same
is hereby accepted. The Clerk of Council is hereby authorized to have said deed
recorded in the Deed Records in the Office of the Superior Court of Muscogee
County, Georgia. A copy of the deed is hereto attached and by this reference
made a part of this resolution.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held
