I. HAZARD MITIGATION GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a
$117,048 grant with a 20% local match of $29,262 from the Hazard Mitigation
Grant. This grant is available to the counties that were declared a ?Disaster
County?; as a result of the March 1, 2007 Tornado. An agenda report and

II. JUVENILE JUSTICE GRANT:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept a
$125,000 grant from the Office of Juvenile Justice for the Columbus Police
Department Gang Resistance Education and Training Program known as the
G.R.E.A.T. Program. An agenda report and resolution are attached. click tab

III. CONDEMNATION ON PROPERTY ON PARCEL 12 - WHITTLESEY ROAD WIDENING PROJECT:
Authorization is requested for the acquisition of Parcel 12 for the Whittlesey
Road Widening Project. Parcel 12 consists of 0.054 +/- acres, (2352.24SF) of
land for right-of-away and 0.050+/- acres (2166.63 SF) Permanent Easement for
County Road and/or Municipal Street purposes and authorize the filing of the
Declaration of Taking. The condemnation is to clear title of said property.

Scope of RFP
The Columbus Consolidated Government (hereafter known as Owner) is soliciting
competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms experienced in Construction
Management Services for building repairs. The building in need of repairs is
known as the Train Depot and is located at 1200 Six-Avenue. The Depot will be
repaired as closely as possible with the RFP?s narrative. The Owner has
allocated a project budget range of $400,000.00 to $500,000.00.

The Columbus Consolidated Government (The City) requires the services
of a qualified provider to acquire and install various equipment into the
pursuit vehicles purchased by the City each year. The vendor shall be
responsible for delivery of the vehicles to the City of Columbus as a fully
functional pursuit vehicle for use by one of the Law Enforcement Agencies.
