Subject: City Recycling (TEST) Program
Dear Mayor,
After being on the City's TEST recycling program living in Oakland Park, I have
truly been committed to placing and separating trash from recycling. After
about one month now, I find that I have 80% of my current refuse was actually
recyclable. I have also found my trash can filling up less and my recycle bin
filling up more. I don't have as much trash as I used to have. In retrospect, I
think it's a win/win not only for the city as you can go to once a week trash
pick-up saving money and convert what was going into the landfill before, into
income for the city and help keep impact down on the environment for our future
generations.
