I. UTILITY RELOCATION AND RIGHT OF WAY/EASEMENT ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY:
Authorization is requested to authorize payment for Utility Relocation, Right
of Way/Easement Acquisition and Attorney Fees for the Veterans Parkway/Cooper
Creek Road/Northside School Intersection Improvement Project. An agenda report
and resolution are attached.
II. ROAD RE-STRIPING AND SAFETY IMPROVEMENTS ? CHEROKEE AVENUE:
Authorization is requested of the re-striping of Cherokee Avenue from Garrard
Street to Camille Avenue as a four-lane roadway with traffic safety
improvements. An agenda report and resolution are attached.
III. QUIT CLAIM DEED- 36TH STREET ABANDONMENT:
Authorization is requested to Quit Claim the street segment of 36th Street
between Hamilton Road and Veterans Parkway to the adjacent property owner. An
agenda report, map and resolution are attached.

Approval is requested of items "A" thru "G":
A. Long Distance Telephone Services (Annual Contract)
B. Surplus Furniture Used by Hurricane Katrina Evacuees

V. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) - PAWS COLUMBUS, INC.
Authorization is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)
with PAWS Columbus, Inc., for the development, ownership, staffing, operations
and maintenance of an animal control facility and animal resource center. An
agenda report, map and resolution are attached.
There will be a council work session Tuesday directly after council meeting in
the Ground Floor Conference Room on various issues.

Scope of PQ
The Parks and Recreation Department of Columbus Consolidated Government (the
City) is seeking quotes for three-hundred (300) 50 lb. bags of magnesium
chloride and two-hundred (200) 50 lb. bags of Har Tru Rubico surface. The
equipment will be used at Cooper Creek Tennis Center. The successful vendor
must use their forklift to stack the pallets in the storage room at the tennis
center.
