I. FY2012 HOLIDAY SCHEDULE:



Authorization is requested for approval of the attached Holiday Schedule for

the FY2012 Budget Year. It is recommended that Friday, December 23, 2011, be

II. COLUMBUS CIVIC CENTER AND NEW ICE RINK - REVISED RENTAL RATES PRIVATE ICE

TIME:



Authorization is requested for the approval of the Columbus Civic Center and

Ice Rink rental rates for ice time through June 30, 2011. An ordinance with

final rates will be part of the FY12 Budget. An agenda report, fee schedule

III. 10-YEAR PLAN TO END HOMELESSNESS IMPLEMENTATION:



Authorization is requested to enter into an agreement with the Chattahoochee

Valley United Way Agency for the implementation of the City's 10 Year Plan to

End Homelessness from CDBG Entitlement Funds. An agenda report and resolution

IV. MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR ENHANCEMENTS TO RIVERDALE CEMETERY SEXTON'S

OFFICE:



Authorization is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding

(MOU) with the Riverdale-Porterdale Cemetery Foundation to make additional

enhancements to the Riverdale Cemetery Sexton's Office in the amount of

$62,807.38 utilizing the City's current vendor. All construction costs and any

other additional related costs, including ongoing maintenance of these

improvements, will be the responsibility of the Riverdale-Porterdale Cemetery

V. COLUMBUS LIONS - RENEWAL LEASE AGREEMENT:



Authorization is requested to enter into a three-year Lease Agreement with

Columbus Indoor Football Team, LLC d/b/a Columbus Lions. An agenda report,

VI. GEORGIA SOUTHWESTERN RAILROAD, INC. - LEASE AGREEMENT:



Authorization is requested to execute a lease agreement with Georgia

Southwestern Railroad, Inc., for reimbursement of expenses incurred for

railroad crossing improvements at crossing on Old Cusseta Road. An agenda

VII. RETIRED VOLUNTEER SERVICE PROGRAM:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved accept

$32,555 in funds from the Corporation for National and Community Service for

the RSVP Program. An agenda report and resolution are attached. Click

VIII. JUDICIAL COUNCIL OF GEORGIA STANDING COMMITTEE ON ACCOUNTABILITY COURTS:



Authorization is requested to submit an application and if approved,

accept funds from the Judicial Council of Georgia Standing Committee on

Accountability Courts for the operation of a Juvenile Drug Court Program. The

exact amount of funding awarded through this grant will not be known until FY12

State budget has been announced. An agenda report and resolution are

IX. DIESEL EMISSIONS REDUCTION ACT GRANT:



Authorization is requested to enter in to an agreement with University of

Georgia and if approved, accept a grant for up to $ 271,500. from the

Southeast Diesel Collaborative (SEDC) via the US Environmental Protection

Agency (EPA). An agenda report and resolution are attached. Click

X. STREET ACCEPTANCE - GRANITE FIELD COURT AND THAT PORTION OF GRANITE FIELD

DRIVE LOCATED IN SECTION ELEVEN, PHASE TWO, IVY PARK:



Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Granite Field Court

and that portion of Granite Field Drive located in Section Eleven, Phase Two,

Ivy Park. The Department of Engineering has inspected these streets and

recommends the acceptance. An agenda report, map and resolution are

Scope of Bid

In accordance with the Columbus Water Works Sanitary Sewer & Disposal Ordinance

#04-74, provide and install (1) 3000-gallon in-ground grease trap system at

Muscogee County Jail. The system must be completely installed no later than

April 23, 2011.



2. Roof Replacement at Muscogee County Prison ? RFB No. 11-0048

Scope of Bid

Provide all labor, equipment and materials to install a new SBS modified

bitumen roof system at the Muscogee County Prison, which is located at 7175

Sacerdote Lane, Columbus GA. Written requests for approval of any materials

submitted on this project as "Equals or Substitutes" for the specified material

must be submitted prior to or at the March 2, 2011 mandatory pre-bid

conference/site visit.

Scope of Bid

The Muscogee County Board of Tax Assessors requires printing and mailing

services for approximately sixty eight thousand five hundred (68,500) official

tax matter notices to be distributed to citizens of Muscogee County.
