The ANIMAL CONTROL ADVISORY BOARD met THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 17,2011, at 2:30 P.M.
at the Animal Care & Control Center.

Chris Brown gave a presentation on the operation and procedures of the Special
Enforcement Division and Animal Control Section.
Topics the board discussed:
Adoption fees ? a survey will be done before next board meeting
Website of the animals in the center
Walk Thru scanners
Dangerous Dog hearings and ordinances
Micro chipping all biting dogs
Micro chipping of cat colonies
Future meetings and workshop for the ACAB
Education for the public
Police assistance for Animal Control Enforcement
The board discussed ordinance Sec 5-3 Animal control advisory board to delete
c-4 and c-5 and amend c-6 and c-9. They will vote on the changes at the next
board meeting.
Kathy McCarley adjourned the workshop at 4:25 PM.
