A Resolution authorizing a Special Exception to operate an auto/truck sales
(used) dealership on less than 2 acres at
3115 5th Avenue.
WHEREAS, Kutima and Bass Dealership, Inc. / Anthony Bigmall have appropriately
applied for a Special Exception Use to operate an auto/truck sales dealership
on less than 2 acres on the subject property;
WHEREAS, Auto/truck sales on less than 2 acres solely as a Special Exception
Use under the current GC (General Commercial) zoning district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Department has reviewed the request and recommends
conditional approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 3.2.8 of the Unified Development Ordinance has
been properly met and a Special Exception Use to allow the operation of a Auto
Dealership on less than 2 acres is granted for the property located at 3115 5th
Avenue.
A special exception use is granted for the subject property with the following
condition:
The property shall not have more than ten (10) off-street parking spaces in
order to comply with the fifty (50) percent lot coverage requirement
established under the Unified Development Ordinance.

10th day of July, 2012, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
