An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 3535 Macon Road from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to
GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department is hereby
amended by changing the aforementioned property from NC (Neighborhood
Commercial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District:
All that tract, lot or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot 30
of the 8th Land district of Muscogee County, Georgia, being more particularly
described as follows:
To obtain the point or place of beginning, start at the intersection of the
Northwest right of way line of Macon Road, which is State Route No. 22, and the
Southwest right of way line of Fuller street and run thence South 44 degrees,
45 minutes and 43 seconds West a distance of 163.28 feet to a point: thence
North 41 degrees, 29 minutes and 59 seconds West a distance of 14.03 feet TO
THE POINTOR PLACE OF BEGINNING; AND FROM SAID POINT OR PLACE OF BEGINNING, RUN
THENCE IN A Southwesterly direction along the Northwest right of way line of
Macon Road, which is State Route No. 22, along an arc having a radius of
2,7696.79 feet a distance or 217.76 feet to a point; thence South 49 degrees,
35 minutes and 03 seconds West along the Northwest right of way line of Macon
Road a distance of 82.36 feet to a point: thence North 42 degrees, 41 minutes
and 00 seconds West a distance of 145.56 feet to a point; thence North 47
degrees, 19 minutes and 00 seconds East a distance of 300.00 feet to a point;
thence South 42 degrees, 41 minutes and 00 seconds East a distance of 148.95
feet to the point or place of beginning; all as is more fully shown and
described on that certain plat of survey prepared by F. Wayne Allen, Georgia
Registered Land Surveyor No. 1671, dated June 11th, 1992, and recorded in Plat
Book 119, Page 78, Clerk?s Office, Muscogee County Superior court; reference to
said plat and the record thereof being incorporated herein and made a part of
this description. Said property contains in the aggregate 1.029 acres, and
there is an existing building located thereon known as the 3535 Macon Road
Building, Columbus, Georgia.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia
held on the 11th day of August, 2015; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the day of ____, 2015 and adopted
at said meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
