A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO EXTEND A WIRELESS
COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE ON PROPERTY LOCATED
AT 7025 MOON ROAD
WHEREAS, Kim Bucciero / AT&T Mobility have appropriately applied for a Special
Exception Use, to extend a 121-foot wireless communications facility (tower) by
6 feet for wireless communications service on the property described above; and,
WHEREAS, wireless communication towers are permitted solely as a Special
Exception Use under the current SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning
district; and,
WHEREAS, wireless communication towers are permitted on property zoned SFR2
when the property is approved for non-single family residential use, such as a
church, school, etc.; and,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 3.2.72 of the Unified Development Ordinance
has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to extend a 121-foot wireless
communication facility by 6 feet for wireless communication services is granted
for the property located at 7025 Moon Road.
