Columbus Parks and Recreation Staff Receive Scholarships
The Leisure Careers Foundation of the Georgia Recreation and Park Association,
Inc., has established a scholarship program to assist recreation and park
professionals in Georgia the ability to advance their training through
attendance at specific workshops, seminars and training programs. The following
staff received scholarships in the amount of $175.00 to assist them with the
registration at future conferences and workshops:
-- Division Manager Holli Browder (National Recreation and Park
Association Conference)
-- Cultural Arts Supervisor Lisa Castile (Georgia Recreation and Park
Association Conference)
-- Assistant Director Travis Landrum (George F. Harris Management Institute of
Georgia Recreation and Park Association)
-- Director James Worsley (National Recreation and Park Association Directors
School)
