I. MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) - HOUSING AUTHORITY OF COLUMBUS
REDEVELOPMENT OF BOOKER T. WASHINGTON PUBLIC HOUSING:
Authorization is requested to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding
with the Housing Authority of Columbus for the redevelopment of the Booker T.
Washington Public Housing by providing an Option to acquire city-owned Liberty
District properties in the event the Low Housing Tax Credit application is

II. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR CHILDREN/FAMILIES GRANT - EARLY CHILDHOOD SYSTEM OF
CARE/HOME VISITING PARTNERS - MEEPE PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved, accept
a $75,000 grant from the Governor?s Office for Children and Families (Early
Childhood System of Care and Home Visitation Partnership MEEPE program) with no

III. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR CHILDREN/FAMILIES GRANT - NURSE-FAMILY PARTNERSHIP
HOME VISITING PROGRAM:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved,
accept $497,560 from the Governor's Office for Children/Families for the
Nurse-Family Partnership and Implementation Agreement for the period of
January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2013, with Nurse-Family Partnership, a
Colorado nonprofit corporation, which is automatically renewable annually if
funding through the Governor?s Office for Children and Families (federal
MIECHV/Health and Human Services/HRSA) is available to conduct the Nurse-Family
Partnership program in Columbus, GA. A local match is not required. An agenda

IV. GOVERNOR'S OFFICE FOR CHILDREN/FAMILIES GRANT - EARLY CHILDHOOD SYSTEM OF

V. DONATION OF PROPERTY FROM MUSCOGEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT:
Authorization is requested to accept a donation of property from the
Muscogee County School District for Whitesville Rd/Double Churches Rd

VI. QUIT CLAIM DEED ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 941 FRONT AVENUE:
Authorization is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed with The Board
of Regents of the University System of Georgia on property located at 941 Front
Avenue for the purpose of clearing a Title at 941 Front Avenue (formally named
Seaboard Depot Building) that is overhanging on city property by roughly six

VII. CONDEMNATION ON MOON ROAD RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT - PARCEL 100, 7042 MOON
ROAD:
Authorization is requested for the acquisition of Parcel 100, 7042 Moon
Road for the Moon Road Reconstruction Project from Wilbur Drive to Whittlesey
Blvd totaling 0.040 +/- acres of Right of Way, 0.004 acres +/- Permanent
Easement, 0.004 acres +/- Temporary Easement Track 1, and 0.004 acres +/-
Temporary Easement Track 2, and authorizing the filing of a Declaration of
Taking by the City Attorney or his representatives for the acquisition of said
land under the authority of the official code of Georgia annotated, Section

+/- of Right of Way, Temporary Construction Easement totaling 0.005 acres+/-,
two (2) Permanent Slope and Drainage Easements totaling 0.002 acres+/- plus a
Drive Way Easement for County Road and/or Municipal Street purposes, and
authorizing the filing of a Declaration of Taking by the City Attorney or his
representatives for the acquisition of said land under the authority of the
official code of Georgia annotated, Section 32-3-1 et.seq for the referenced

XIII. ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF DRAINAGE/UTILITY EASEMENT - SOUTH
PROPERTY LINE OF 1734 LANEY DRIVE:
Approval is requested to execute a Quit Claim Deed to Lawrence Stephens
for abandonment of a seven (7) foot wide section along the northern side of the
existing ten (10) foot drainage and utility easement of Lot 43, Block "N"
Allison Estates Subdivision in order to construct a 24' x 17' carport. An

XIV. CLAFLIN SCHOOL, 1532 5TH AVENUE:
Approval is requested for the acceptance of a deed of Claflin
School,1532 5th Avenue, from Muscogee County School District on a temporary
basis in order to give staff six months to ascertain the level of interest from
the local non-profit service providers to establish a homeless resource center.

XV. VARIANCE TO PARKING REQUIREMENT - PCI, INC., 8801 MACON ROAD
Approval is requested of a parking variance to the maximum number of
parking spaces allowed in accordance to Section 4.3.11 of the UDO for PCI,
Inc., 8801 Macon Road, to increase the number of parking spaces from 39 to 67
