I'm finding it increasingly difficult to remain on the board. Please accept
this e-mail as my resignation and share this information with the rest of the
board.
I am in the process of downsizing my residence and expect within the next year
to reside primarily in DC. You may not be aware, but my husband remains (most
of the time) in either DC or on overseas assignments. I recently found out
that he will be going back to Afghanistan shortly, and I need to travel north
to maximize my time with him. As such I will be gone over the long Easter
weekend.
It's not fair to the board to be a part-time member so I regretfully resign. I
cc'd Glenn Davis since he was the council member who nominated me to the board
a couple of years ago.
Glenn, fyi. Thanks for your nomination, but requirements place me elsewhere.
