A RESOLUTION APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO ALLOW A PLACE OF WORSHIP ON
LESS THAN TWO ACRES ON PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2719 47TH STREET.
WHEREAS, the Full Gospel Columbus Church has appropriately applied for a
Special Exception Use, to allow a place of worship on less than two acres on
the property described above;
WHEREAS, Places of worship on less than two acres are permitted solely as a
Special Exception Use under the current SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3)
zoning district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Committee and the Planning Department has
reviewed the request and recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria of Section 3.2.53 of the Unified Development Ordinance
has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to allow a place of worship
on less than two acres, is granted for the property located at 2719 47th Street.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the
23rd day of November, 2010, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
of members of said Council.
