AN ORDINANCE REGULATING VEHICULAR TRAFFIC IN COLUMBUS, GEORGIA BY
DELETING FROM THE ?OFFICIAL STREET MAP, CITY OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA? THE STREET
SEGMENTS AND RIGHTS-OF-WAY OF ZENOS DRIVE FROM THE NORTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF
DIRK WAY NORTH TO THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF BUENA VISTA ROAD; DIRK WAY
FROM A POINT 200.3 FEET EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF WINALL DRIVE EAST
A DISTANCE OF 459.8 FEET; UPLAND WAY FROM A POINT 200.0 FEET EAST OF THE EAST
RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF WINALL DRIVE EAST A DISTANCE OF 460.0 FEET; PROVIDING
THAT ALL EXISTING UTILITY EASEMENTS OF RECORD REMAIN IN EFFECT AND PROVIDING
EASEMENTS OF APPROPRIATE WIDTH AS REQUIRED BY THE APPLICABLE UTILITY COMPANIES
WILL BE RESERVED FOR UNKNOWN UTILITIES; AUTHORIZING THE DISPOSAL OF SAID
PROPERTY IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE COLUMBUS CHARTER; REPEALING ANY CONFLICTING
ORDINANCES; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION I.
That the ?Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia? is hereby
amended by deleting the following street segments and rights-of-way:
Zenos Drive: Beginning at the north right-of-way line of Dirk Way
north to the south right-of-way line of Buena Vista Road.
Dirk Way: Beginning at a point 200.3 feet east of the east
right-of-way line of Winall Drive east a distance of 459.8 feet.
Upland Way: Beginning at a point 200.0 feet east of the east
right-of-way line of Winall Drive east a distance of 460.0 feet.
SECTION II.
That the street segments and rights-of-way described herein Section I
is no longer needed for roadway purposes.
SECTION III.
That the street segments and rights-of-way described herein Section I
is hereby declared surplus property for disposal in accordance with the City
Code.
SECTION IV.
Providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in
effect and providing that easements of appropriate width as required by
applicable utility companies shall be reserved for unknown utilities.
SECTION V.
That the street segment and right-of-way described herein Section I is
hereby authorized for disposal in accordance with the Columbus Charter.
SECTION VI.
That all ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict with this
ordinance are hereby repealed.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
16th day of January, 2007 introduced a second time at a regular meeting of said
Council held on the ______ day of ________, 2007, and adopted at said meeting
