A RESOLUTION CONDITIONALLY APPROVING A SPECIAL EXCEPTION USE TO ERECT A
WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS FACILITY FOR WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS SERVICE ON THE
PROPERTY LOCATED AT 1336 TALBOTTON ROAD.
WHEREAS, Municipal Communications, LLC has applied for a Special Exception Use
to erect a 150-feet wireless communications facility for wireless
communications service on the property described above;
WHEREAS, new wireless communication facilities are permitted solely as a
Special Exception Use under the current LMI (Light Manufacturing / Industrial)
zoning district;
WHEREAS, the Planning Advisory Commission has reviewed the request and
recommend approval and the Planning Department recommends approval.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:
That all the criteria listed under Section 3.2.72 of the Unified Development
Ordinance has been properly met and a Special Exception Use to erect a 150-feet
monopole for wireless communication facility is conditionally approved for the
property located at 1336 Talbotton Road.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia, held the
2nd day of December, 2014, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
of members of said Council.
