An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4124 Forrest Road. *Reference Parcel I.D. #086-024-003 from NC
(Neighborhood Commercial) District to GC (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is
hereby amended by changing 0.439 acres of the following described property from
NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:
All that lot, tract and parcel of land situate, lying and being in State of
Georgia, County of Muscogee, City of Columbus, in Land lot 134 of the Coweta
Reserve thereof, and being more particularly described as follows:
To find the true point of beginning, commence at an iron stake located at the
intersection of the eastern right-of-way of Morris Road with the northern
right-of-way of Forest Road and from said iron stake run thence north 85
degrees 33minutes east for distance of 285 feet to an iron in; continue thence
along the southern right of way line of Forest Road north 85 degree 33 minutes
east for a distance of 114.41 feet to an iron pin; continue thence along the
southern right-of-way line of Forest Road north 83 degrees 50 minutes east for
a distance of 55.3 feet to an iron pin which marks the True Point of Beginning;
from said true point of beginning thus established, run thence south 07 degrees
46 minutes east for a distance of 125 feet to an iron pin located on the west
bank of Cooper Creek; run thence along the meandering west bank of said Cooper
Creek 127.1 feet, more or less, to an iron pin located on the southern right of
way line of Forest Road; run thence along the southern right of way line of
Forest Road south 82 degrees 14minutes west for a distance of 12.70 feet to an
iron pin; continue thence along the southern right of way line of Forest Road
south 82 degrees 14 minutes west for a distance of 150 feet to an iron pin,
same marking the true point of beginning. Said property is more particularly
shown on that certain survey entitled ?replat of lot one and part of lots two
and three, Forestside Subdivision? dated August 24, 1970, prepared by Moon,
Meeks & Associates and recorded in Plat Book 48, page 33 in the Office of the
Clerk of the Superior Court of Muscogee County, Georgia.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
23rd day of November, 2010; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
said Council held on the __ day of _____ , 2010 and adopted at said
meeting by the affirmative vote of members of said Council.
