O R D I N A N C E S:



(1) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance authorizing ?working spouse? eligibility

for coverage in the Columbus Consolidated Government Employee/Retiree Self

Funded Medical Benefit Plan conditioned upon payment of a monthly unsubsidized

working spouse surcharge approved by the Finance Director based upon benefit

consultant recommendations; replacing applicable chart in FY15 Budget

Ordinance; and for other purposes. (Councilor Davis) (Delayed from September

16, 2014 meeting) (As amended)



(2) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance repealing Ordinance No. 99-21 so as to replace

existing Personnel Review Board Policy 220-505 with a new policy which shall

be designated as Policy Number 220-505 and for other purposes. (Councilor

McDaniel)



(3) 1st Reading - REZN-6-14-1318 ? Property located at 1042 Manchester

Expressway is proposed for rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1)

Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 8-

Councilor McDaniel) The proposed use is for a grocery store with gas sales and

a shopping center. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the

Planning Department recommends conditional approval.



(4) 1st Reading ? REZN-7-14-1584 ? Property located at 645 Brown Avenue is

proposed for rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) Zoning District to

GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 7- Councilor Woodson) The

current and proposed use is for a convenience store with gas sales. The

Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department

recommends conditional approval.



(5) 1st Reading ? REZN-7-14-1607 ? Property located at 511 Illges Road

is proposed for rezoning from LMI (Light Manufacturing/Industrial) Zoning

District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 3- Councilor

Huff) The current and proposed use is for personal services. The Planning

Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval.



(6) 1st Reading ? REZN-7-14-1611 ? Properties located at 4015 and 4019 Forrest

and 4100 Taylor Drive; are proposed for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood

Commercial) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District.

(District 1- Councilor Barnes) The proposed use is for general retail. The

Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval.



(7) 1st Reading ? REZN-8-14-1721 ? Property located at 906 Amber Drive is

proposed for rezoning from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) Zoning District to GC

(General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 4- Councilor Pugh) The

proposed use is for general retail. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends

approval and the Planning Department recommends conditional approval.



(8) 1st Reading ? REZN-7-14-1623 ? Properties located at 7260, 7300, and 7400

Blackmon Road are proposed for rezoning from RE1 (Residential Estate 1) Zoning

District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning District. (District 6- Councilor

Allen) The proposed use is for a grocery store with gas sales. The Planning

Advisory Commission recommends approval and the Planning Department recommends

conditional approval.

R E S O L U T I O N S:







(11) A Resolution authorizing the City Attorney, Finance Director or

their representatives to make payment of $500,000 to settle any and all claims

of the estate of Jaqueze Inez Harris and Jacqueline and Kirk Harris,

co-administrators and surviving parents, including attorney?s fees, arising

from the incident of October 14, 2012. (Councilor McDaniel)
