(2) MUTUAL AID AGREEMENT WITH PHENIX CITY:



Authorization is requested for the Board of Water Commissioner of Columbus,

Georgia and the City of Phenix City to enter into a Mutual Aid Agreement to

allow greater flexibility in the event of an emergency and the water system is

severely damaged or rendered inoperable. (Please delay action on this item

until after discussion on the Work Session Agenda.)



(3) Resolution excusing Councilor Glenn Davis from the March 20, 2007 Council

Meeting.



(4) Resolution excusing Mayor Pro Tem Evelyn Turner Pugh from the March 20,

2007 Council Meeting.

Traffic Engineering Division.

Provide and install automatic gates, at one location with four remotes, at

METRA transit station.

Department.

1. Design/Builder for the Columbus Skate Park ? RFP No. 07-0009

Scope of RFP

The Columbus Consolidated Government (hereafter known as Owner) is soliciting

competitive sealed proposals from qualified firms experienced in designing and

constructing (Design/Build) skate park facilities (hereafter known as

Facility). The Facility will be developed and consistent as closely as possible

with the RFP?s narrative and conceptual drawings. The Owner has allocated a

project budget range of $500,000.00 to $700,000.00. The Owner will consider

proposals only from vendors that specialize in designing and building concrete

in-ground skate parks.

Provide repair/rebuild services for various types of transmissions for METRA

Transit System on an ?as needed? basis. The contract period will be for two

years with the option to renew for three additional twelve-month periods.



3. Sport Utility Vehicles ? RFB No. 07-0059

Scope of Bid

Provide six (6) mid-size 2-wheel drive SUVs to be used by the Inspections and

Codes Department and Highways and Roads Division of the Engineering Department;

and one (1) 4x4 extended version full-size SUV to be used by the Drainage

Division of the Engineering Department.

Scope of Bid

Provide one (1) Harley Davidson ?Road King? Police Motorcycle to be used by the

Motor Transportation Division of the Columbus Police Department.

Scope of RFP

Provide Columbus Consolidated Government video recording and broadcasting

services on an ?as needed basis? for Council Meetings and other events. The

mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.
