A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, Becca Hardin, Executive Vice-President of The Greater Columbus Chamber
of Commerce, was recently featured in the April, 2010 edition of Georgia Trend
magazine;
WHEREAS, she also serves as the Executive Vice-President of The Valley
Partnership, a regional industrial development entity that includes
Columbus-Muscogee County, Cusseta-Chattahoochee County, the cities of West
Point and Manchester, Marion, Talbot and Taylor Counties, and Phenix
City-Russell County, Alabama;
WHEREAS, Ms. Hardin was instrumental in the recent effort to lure NCR
Manufacturing to Columbus, a company which will add 900 jobs to the local
economy;
WHEREAS, she has also helped coordinate planning for the addition of the U.S.
Army Armour School at Fort Benning, along with approximately 11,000 soldiers;
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Becca Hardin, Executive Vice-President of the
Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce and The Valley Partnership, are worthy of
special recognition by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and congratulate Becca Hardin, Executive Vice-President of
the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce and The Valley Partnership upon being
featured in Georgia Trend magazine for April, 2010. Columbus is proud of her
accomplishments and we wish her every success in the future. Let a copy of this
resolution be forwarded to Becca Hardin.

Introduced at a regular meeting of the Council of Columbus, Georgia held on the
27th day of April, 2010, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote of
