AN ORDINANCE

An ordinance amending the METRA Transit System base fare in accordance
with 49 U.S.C Chapter 53, 49 C.F.R Part 609 and FTA Circular 9030.1C; and for
other purposes;

THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY ORDAINS:
SECTION 1.
In accordance with all appropriate federal regulations and statutory
requirements, METRA?s base fare will increase by $.05 (five cents). The base
fare of $1.25 will increase to $1.30 effective October 1, 2009
SECTION 2.
All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this ordinance are
hereby repealed.
