RESOLUTION
NO.
WHEREAS, the Tax Commissioner desires Council approval to enter into a contract
with Envision Payment Solutions to provide assistance in collecting unpaid
checks;
WHEREAS, O.C.G.A. Section 48-5-146 sets forth the obligations of the Tax
Commissioner with respect to collecting such items, and the Tax Commissioner
desires approval of this contract in order to satisfy the requirements of
O.C.G.A. Section 48-5-146(a)(2).
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
The Tax Commissioner is hereby authorized to enter into a contract with
Envision Payment Solutions effective as of January 1, 2013 for the collection
of certain unpaid checks in the form attached hereto.
