Ordinance (UDO) to create a new permitted use and definition: ambulance

service. Any reference to ambulances in the definition of dispatch agency or

office shall also be removed.

services to households and businesses using telephonic or electronic

communication, including such services as ambulance, janitorial, limousine,

pest control, and taxi.

The Planning Advisory Commission (PAC) considered this text amendment at their

meeting on June 16, 2010. The PAC recommended approval with an amendment:

Ambulance services shall be permitted in GC as a Special Exception Use.



The Planning Department recommends approval as submitted.
