O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 2nd Reading - REZN-03-17-0423: An ordinance rezoning approximately 0.48
acres located at 4803 and 4811 13th Avenue (Parcel #'s 032-019-001 &
032-019-002). The current zoning is SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4) zoning
district. The proposed zoning is RMF1 (Residential Multi-family 1) zoning
district. The proposed use is Residential. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommend conditional approval. (Councilor Garrett)
(2) 2nd Reading - REZN-05-17-0905: An ordinance rezoning approximately 0.56
acres located at 1751 44th Street (Parcel #'s 035-001-001 & 035-003-001). The
current zoning is LMI (Light Manufacturing and Industrial) zoning district.
The proposed zoning is GC (General Commercial) zoning district. The proposed
use is Church. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department

(3) 2nd Reading - REZN-05-17-0912: An ordinance rezoning approximately 0.17
acres located at 1819 44th Street (Parcel # 035-003-002). The current zoning
is LMI (Light Manufacturing and Industrial) zoning district. The proposed
zoning is SFR4 (Single Family Residential 4) zoning district. The proposed use
is Single Family Residential. The Planning Advisory Commission and the

(4) 2nd Reading - REZN-03-17-0412: An ordinance to amend the Unified
Development Ordinance and the permitted use table to allow a banquet facility
in the RO (Residential Office) zoning district as a Special Exception Use. The
Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department recommend approval.

(5) 2nd Reading - REZN-04-17-0657: An ordinance rezoning approximately 10.96
acres located at 2357 & 2367 Warm Springs Road as well as 3705, 3713, 3721,
3803, 3809, 3817, 3823 & 3829 Gurley Drive (Parcel #?s 187-001-001,
187-001-002, 187-001-003, 187-001-004, 187-001-005, 187-001-006, 187-001-007,
187-001-009 & 187-001-010) the current zoning is NC (Neighborhood Commercial) /
RO (Residential Office) and RE1 (Residential Estate 1) zoning districts. The
proposed zoning is RO (Residential Office) zoning district. The proposed use
is Office. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommend conditional approval. (Councilor Garrett)
(6) 1st Reading - REZN-04-17-0706: An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of
the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes
certain boundaries of a district located at 4225 Alton Street (parcel #
090-041-005) from SFR3 (Single Family Residential 3) Zoning District to RMF1
(Residential Multi-family 1) Zoning District. The Planning Advisory Commission
recommends approval based on the staff report and compatibility with existing
land uses. The Planning Department recommends approval based on compatibility

(7) 1st Reading - REZN-05-17-0899: An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of
the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes
certain boundaries of a district located at 7634 Old Moon Road (parcel #?s
073-022-007A, 073-022-007) from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) and SFR3
(Single Family Residential 3) Zoning District to GC (General Commercial) Zoning
District. The Planning Advisory Commission recommends approval based on the
staff report and compatibility with existing land uses. The Planning
Department recommends approval based on compatibility with existing land uses.

(8) 1st Reading - REZN-05-17-1070: An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of
the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes
certain boundaries of a district located at 3641 Norris Road (parcel #
069-023-033) from SFR2 (Single Family Residential 2) Zoning District to RO
(Residential Office) Zoning District. The Planning Advisory Commission
recommends approval based on the staff report and compatibility with existing
land uses. The Planning Department recommends approval based on compatibility

(9) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending Chapter 7, Aviation, of the Columbus
Code to provide for definitions, rights of users, and prohibited conduct; and
