Request for citizen review of the Draft of the City?s Five Year Consolidated
Plan
The Department of Community Reinvestment of the Columbus Consolidated
Government of Columbus, Georgia is holding a Public Hearing to receive citizen
comments on the draft of the Five Year Consolidated Plan. The Plan is a
document required by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) that
outlines the City?s plans for the allocation of its Entitlement Funds (CDBG,
HOME, ESGP) over a five-year period beginning July 1, 2006.
The Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, April 11, 2006; 6:00 p.m. at the
Government Center Annex Building, 420 10th Street. The public is invited to
attend and to offer comments related to the Draft.
Copies of the draft of the Consolidated Plan will also be available for a 30
day Public Comment Period. The Public Comment Period will begin April 12, 2006
and will end May 11, 2006. Copies of the Draft are available for review at the
following locations:
