A RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, from time to time, the Georgia Department of Revenue requests a
Certificate of Distribution concerning Local Option Sales Tax (LOST) proceeds
in consolidated governments;
WHEREAS, Columbus, Georgia is a consolidated city-county government, and as
such, receives 100% of LOST proceeds from sales in Muscogee County.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
The Mayor is authorized to execute the attached Certificate of
Distribution for receipt of 100% of LOST proceeds in Muscogee County. The
Finance Director shall forward the executed Certificate of Distribution to the
Georgia Revenue Commissioner.

22nd day of November, 2011, and adopted at said meeting by the affirmative vote
