An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government

of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district

located at 4422 Miller Road and 4531 Peek Industrial Drive from NC

(Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district to GC (General Commercial) zoning

district.



THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:



That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Department be, and the same is

hereby amended by changing the following described property from NC

(Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district to GC (General Commercial) zoning

district:



All that tract or parcel of land lying and being in Land Lot 6 of the 8th

District, City of Columbus, Muscogee County, Georgia, and being more

particularly described as follows:



Tract 1



Commencing at a concrete monument found at the intersection of the southern

right-of-way of Miller Road (variable right-of-way) with the eastern

right-of-way of Warm Springs Road (variable right-of-way), thence continuing

along said southern right-of-way of Miller Road, South 85 degrees 51 minutes 46

seconds East, a distance of 17.01 feet to a 1-l/2-inch crimp top pipe found,

said crimp top pipe being the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING; Thence continuing with

said right-of-way, South 85 degrees 54 minutes 16 seconds East, a distance of

80.38 feet to a 1-l/2-inch crimp top pipe found; Thence departing said

right-of-way, South 04 degrees 56 minutes 31 seconds West, a distance of 149.31

feet to a 5/8-inch rebar set; Thence North 84 degrees 57 minutes 48 seconds

West, a distance of 100.19 feet to a 5/8-inch rebar set; Thence North 12

degrees 34 minutes 11 seconds East, a distance of 149.28 feet to a 1-l/2-inch

crimp top pipe found and the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

Beginning at a concrete monument found a the intersection of the southern

right-of-way of Miller Road (variable right-of-way) with the eastern

right-of-way of Warm Springs Road (variable right-of-way), thence continuing

along said southern right-of-way of Miller Road, South 85 degrees 51 minutes 46

seconds East, a distance of 17.01 feet to a 1-12-inch crimp top pipe found;

Thence departing said southern right-of-way, South 12 degrees 34 minutes 11

seconds West, a distance of 149.28 feet to a 5/8-inch rebar set; Thence South

84 degrees 57 minutes 48 seconds East, a distance of 100.19 feet to a 5/8--inch

rebar; Thence South 84 degrees 57 minutes 48 seconds East, a distance of 113.15

feet to a 1-12-inch crimp top pipe found; Thence South 00 degrees 24 minutes 32

seconds East, a distance of 226.11 feet to a 1-12-inch crimp top pipe found on

the northern right-of-way north 74 degrees 32 minutes 06 seconds West, a

distance of 49.30 feet to a 1-12-inch crimp top pipe found; Thence North 58

degrees 33 minutes 11 seconds West, a distance of 262.19 feet to a concrete

monument found at the intersection of said northern right-of-way of Peek

Industrial Drive with said eastern right-of-way of Warm Springs Road; Thence

continuing with said eastern right-of-way the following two courses: North 03

degrees 22 minutes 16 seconds East, a distance of 102.56 feet to a 5/8-inch

rebar set; Thence North 25 degrees 30 minutes 54 seconds East, a distance of

154.52 feet to a concrete monument found and the True point of beginning.
