TO THE PUBLIC SAFETY DIRECTOR:
EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEM:
When the emergency warning alarm system goes off, let?s make sure that the
voice is enhanced and the sirens are louder during an emergency situation.

If the Mayor is going to ask that the voice be increased in volume and the
alarm to be increased in volume, maybe we need to consider silent testing on
Saturdays. (Request of Councilor Allen)

TRAFFIC ACCIDENTS ON THE BYPASS:
Have the Public Safety Director to get together with the Police, Sheriff
and Marshal?s Department as it relates to traffic backup due to traffic
accidents on the bypass; and possibly have an officer to go to the exit that is
before the accident and stop traffic so that the motorists will know that there
is an accident ahead. (Request of Councilor Turner Pugh)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
ADVANCED TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT SYSTEM:
Have the staff to provide an estimated timeframe as to when we might have
the advanced traffic management system coming on line here in the City of
Columbus. (Request of Councilor Hunter)

COMMUNITY EVENTS:
As it relates to the information that was provided to her, that highlights
the different activities and community events that we are doing for the Latino
community, let?s have the staff to check and make sure that this information is
accurate and is also available in Spanish on the website. (Request of Councilor
Woodson)

TRAFFIC CONGESTION:
Have the staff to provide some information as it relates to those areas
that may be considered troubled areas, as far as, traffic congestion is
concerned; and how are we looking at it for the future. If there is a priority
list, let?s provide a copy of that list to the Council. (Request of Councilor
Davis)
