O R D I N A N C E S:
(1) 2ND Reading ? REZN-11-15-2375 ? Property located at 8692 Veterans Parkway
is proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning
district to NC (Neighborhood Commercial) zoning district. (Owner: Linda E.
Cooke) (District 6-Councilor Allen) The proposed use is commercial retail
stores and coffee shop. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Department recommended approval. (As amended)
(2) 2ND Reading ? REZN-11-15-2344 ? Request to amend the text of the Unified
Development Ordinance (UDO) by changing sections 3.2.72.K.1 (B) and adding
sections 3.2.72.O as well as section 3.2.72.O.B. These changes will allow for
concealed support structures designed for small cell technology to be placed
within the public roads and /or right-of-way. The Planning Advisory Commission
and the Planning Department recommended approval. (Mayor Pro-Tem Pugh)
(3) 1st Reading ? REZN-01-16-0032 - Property located at 6059 & 6073 Veterans
Parkway is proposed for rezoning from RO (Residential Office) zoning district
to GC (General Commercial) zoning district. (Owner: Cottle Properties, LLC)
(District 2-Councilor Davis) The proposed use is retail, office and
restaurant. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommended approval.
(4) 1st Reading ? REZN-01-16-0041 - Property located at 3603 Weems Road
is proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning
district to RO (Residential Office) zoning district. (Owner: Columbus Botanical
Gardens, INC) (District 2-Councilor Davis) The proposed use is cultural
facility. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Department
recommended approval.
(5) 1st Reading ? REZN-01-16-0136 - Property located at 3508 Oberlin
Drive is proposed for rezoning from SFR1 (Single Family Residential 1) zoning
district to RO (Residential Office) zoning district. (Owner: Columbus
Consolidated Government) (District 2-Councilor Davis) The proposed use is
cultural facility. The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Department recommended approval.
