Outline of Changes
Changes in Contract with the Columbus Convention & Visitors Bureau is due to
the increase in the Hotel/Motel tax from 7% to 8% effective August 1, 2009.
Change in allocation to the CCVB from 3% of the 7% Hotel/Motel Tax to 4% of the
8% Hotel/Motel Tax
Change in allocation to The Sports Council from 6.5% of the 3% CCVB allocation
to 25% of the 4% CCVB allocation
Change in allocation to the Arts Council from 6.5% of the 3% CCVB allocation to
9.75% of the 4% CCVB allocation
CCVB designated as the ?official? destination marketing organization.
8% Hotel/Motel Tax Allocation effective August 1, 2009
