I. JOINT PURCHASE AGREEMENT - AMEND RESOLUTION #6-07:
Authorization is requested to amend Resolution #6-07 to terminate the
Joint Purchase Agreement with Woodmont Properties, Inc., for acquiring
property at 3601 Ginger Drive. An agenda report and resolution are attached.

II. AGREEMENT WITH GEORGIA SOUTHWESTERN RAILROAD, INC.:
Authorization is requested to execute an agreement with Southwestern
Railroad, Inc., for reimbursement of materials, labor, equipment and
engineering services incurred for the replacement of existing combined sewer
system, 6th Avenue and Side Streets System Phase I - II in the amount of
$83,858.48. An agenda report, resolution, map and agreement are attached.

III. ACCEPTANCE OF PROPERTY - MUSCOGEE TECHNOLOGY PARK -
PARCEL 4C (33.13 ACRES.+/-):
Authorization is requested to accept 33.18 +/- acres of undevelopable
property for industrial uses in the Muscogee Technology Park lying in Land Lots
88 & 105, 9th District, Parcel 4C from the Development Authority to be used for
a proposed composite site to dispose of inert waste. An agenda report,

IV. VARIANCE - RICHLAND SUBDIVISION DESIGN:
Authorization is requested of a variance to the Street Design Standard
Section 7.3.4 Street Layout from the required minimum of 800 feet to allow 390
feet plus or minus along arterial roadway such as Buena Vista Road between the
proposed streets named Richland Drive and Bayberry Drive in the Richland

V. STREET ACCEPTANCE - GAINES CREEK DRIVE AND GREEN ISLAND DRIVE CUL-DE-SAC:
Authorization is requested for the acceptance of a deed to Gaines Creek
Drive and Green Island Drive Cul-de-sac. The Department of Engineering has
inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An agenda report,

VI. DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNITY AFFAIRS - HANDS ON GEORGIA CHALLENGE GRANT:
Authorization is requested to accept responsibility as Pass-Through
Agency for Hands On Columbus for the Hands On Georgia Challenge Grant for
$5,000 as approved by the Department of Community Affairs. An agenda report

Provide firefighters with body protection against extreme temperature, sharp
objects, steam water penetration, hot particles, and other hazards encountered
during structural fire fighting. Contract term shall be for two (2) years,
with the option to renew for three (3) additional twelve-month periods, if
agreeable to both parties.

Provide xerographic bond plotter paper and ink cartridges to Columbus

A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference/Site Visit is scheduled at 3:00 PM (Eastern) on
Thursday, October 4, 2007. Vendors shall convene in the Conference Room of the
Finance Department/Purchasing Division, which is located at 100 Tenth St,
Columbus, GA. Vendors will be allowed a 10-minute grace period. Any vendor
who is not present in the lobby of the Finance Conference Room within 10
minutes after the time slated for the beginning of the mandatory pre-bid
conference/site visit shall not be allowed to participate any further in the
bid process. Written requests for approval of any materials submitted on this
project as "Equals or Substitutes" for the specified material must be submitted
prior to or at the mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit.

Scope of RFB
Provide pottery supplies to Columbus Consolidated Government, Parks and
Recreation Department, to be purchased on an ?as needed basis?. Contract term
shall be for two years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional
twelve-month periods. Contract renewal will be contingent upon the mutual
agreement of the City and the Contractor.
2. Cab & Chassis for 25-Yard Refuse Collection Body ? RFB No. 08-0015
Scope of RFB
Provide five (5) cab & chassis to accommodate 25-yard refuse collection bodies
to be used by the Solid Waste Collection Division of the Public Services
Department.
3. Washer Extractor & Dryer ? RFB No. 08-0020
Scope of RFB
Columbus Consolidated Government is requesting bids for a 100NESP-2 Braun
Front-End Loader Washer Extractor (or equivalent) and a L44CD42G Cissell Gas
Dryer (or equivalent), for use at Muscogee County Jail. The owner will install
the equipment and connect to all utilities. The successful vendor shall start
up and program the washer.
