The River Valley Regional Transportation Roundtable Executive Committee will
convene in Americus on the campus of South Georgia Technical College, Tuesday,
July 26, at 1:00 in the Pope Center (see attached map for directions).
Directions to the specific room will be posted in the building?s front entrance.
At the July 13 meeting in Buena Vista the committee reduced the list of
transportation projects from 31 to 26 to fall within projected ten-year revenue
projections. DOT?s Constrained List Development Assistance Tool used in that
effort has been compressed to the 26 projects and is also attached.
All members of the Roundtable are asked to attend this meeting. The Executive
Committee must finalize its selection prior to August 15 and feels the
Roundtable members should be aware of the rationale behind the process and the
projects selected. A public information meeting will be held in the same
building at 3:00. Roundtable members will be receiving that invitation as well.
