1. Explanation of Revisions: Amend Section 3.2.72.K.1.(A) by amending the
Setback Requirement from Monopole Towers Structures to Residential Structures.
ORIGINAL ORDINANCE PROPOSED ORDINANCE CHANGE
Sec. 3.2.72.K.1. Setbacks
Section 3.2.72.K.1.
1. Setbacks.
(A) A tower structure shall not be placed within 300 feet of a residential
structure.
(B) All towers shall be located at least one-third of its height from any
public right-of-way.
(C) Setbacks shall be based on the entire lot on which the tower is located and
shall not be applied to any lease area within the host parcel.
(D)Towers, and accessory structures or anchors in conjunction with a tower
shall comply with the minimum yard requirements of the zoning district in which
they are located.

to the height of the tower structure from any residential structure. All other
tower structure shall not be placed within 300 feet of a residential structure.
(B) All towers shall be located at least one-third of its height from any
public right-of-way.
(C) Setbacks shall be based on the entire lot on which the tower is located and
shall not be applied to any lease area within the host parcel.
(D)Towers, and accessory structures or anchors in conjunction with a tower

PLANNING ADVISORY COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION
The Planning Advisory Commission (PAC) considered this text amendment at their
meeting on July 16, 2014. The PAC recommended Approval.
PLANNING DEPARTMENT RECOMMENDATION
The Planning Department recommends Approval.
