CONSENT AGENDA
(1) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located at 1120 Lockwood Avenue is proposed
for rezoning from RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) District to RO
(Residential-Office) District. (3-A-07-MAM Properties) (Councilor McDaniel)
(The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning Division recommend
approval.)
(2) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located at #7 and part of #11 Crown Circle
is proposed for rezoning from GC (General Commercial) District to LMI (Light
Manufacturing/Industrial) District. (2-A-07-Masterbuilt Manufacturing Inc.)
(Councilor McDaniel) (The Planning Advisory Commission and the Planning
Division recommend approval.)
(3) 2nd Reading - Rezoning property located at 3351 and part of 3361 North
Lumpkin Road is proposed for rezoning from LMI (Light Manufacturing/Industrial)

(4) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance amending the Columbus Code by adding a new
Existing Building Code that will provide opportunities for architects and
engineers in addition to those already provided in the New Building Code; and
for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel)
There will be a pre-council briefing Tuesday at 7:45 a.m. in the Council
Chambers regarding the Special Purpose Local Option Sales Tax (SPLOST).

(5) 2nd Reading - An ordinance regulating vehicular traffic in Columbus,
Georgia by deleting from the ?Official Street Map, City of Columbus, Georgia?
the street segment and right-of-way of Warren Avenue from the south
right-of-way line of 14th Street southwesterly to the east right-of-way line of
Broadway; providing that all existing utility easements of record remain in
effect and providing appropriate width as required by the applicable utility
companies will be reserved for unknown utilities; authorizing the disposal of
said property in accordance with the Columbus Charter; repealing any
conflicting ordinances; and for other purposes. (Councilor McDaniel)
(6) STREET ACCEPTANCE ? SUMMIT COURT AND WELLINGTON WAY:
Authorization is requested to accept a deed to Summit Court and that portion of
Wellington Way located in Phase Two, Wellington Pointe. The Department of
Engineering has inspected these streets and recommends the acceptance. An
agenda report, map and resolution are attached.
(7) RESOLUTION - RICHARDS MIDDLE SCHOOL
Commending and congratulating Mary-Ann Ionascu, Elizabeth Strickland, Briggs
DeLoach and Band Director Morris Foor for their selection to the Georgia Music
Educators Association All-State Middle School Band. A resolution is attached.

(a) Petition submitted by Maria McBean to amend the text of the Unified
Development Ordinance to allow cats-only kennels in the NC (Neighborhood
Commercial) and GC (General Commercial) zoning districts as a permitted use.
(Recommended for approval by the Planning Advisory Commission and denial by the
Planning Department.) (8-D-07-McBean) (A letter has been received from Ms.
McBean requesting a public hearing.)

barbwire chain link fence at the Garfield Drive radio tower site and a chain

Provide services for clearing of vacant or unoccupied lots, including cutting
and removing grass, weeds, undergrowth and other vegetation, draining of
