AN ORDINANCE
NO.
An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government of
Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located north of Susan Lane, south and west of Glenview Drive, from SFR3
(Single Family Residential 3) District to RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1)
District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the Department of
Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby amended by
changing the following described property from SFR3 (Single Family Residential
3) District to RMF1 (Residential Multi-Family 1) District:
All that tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot 22 of the
8th District of Muscogee County, Georgia, the property hereby conveyed being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron on the North line of Susan Lane, which iron designates the
Southeastern point of the curve formed by the intersection of the North line of
Susan Lane with the East line of Winifred Lane (which curve has a radius of 25
feet) as shown upon a map or plat of Wesley Heights Subdivision prepared by
Aldridge, Moon, Russell & King, Civil Engineers, dated September 12, 1955, and
recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Superior Court of Muscogee County,
Georgia in Plat Book 14, Folios 97-A & B, being further shown on a map or plat
recorded in said Clerk?s Office in Plat Book 100, page 38. From said point
running thence North 76 degrees 24 minutes 30 seconds West along the North line
of Susan Lane, a distance of 86.25 feet to an iron pin; thence North 06 degrees
46 minutes East, 149.38 feet to an iron pin which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING
of the property conveyed herein; thence running North 07 degrees 25 minutes 40
seconds East a distance of 50.01 feet to an iron pin; thence running North 84
degrees 54 minutes 19 seconds West a distance of 158.53 feet to an iron pin;
thence running North 03 degrees 18 minutes 16 seconds East a distance of 919.51
feet to an iron pin; thence running South 86 degrees 41 minutes 44 seconds East
a distance of 188.51 feet to an iron pin; thence running South 03 degrees 09
minutes 11 seconds West a distance of 695.0 feet to an iron pin; thence running
North 88 degrees 58 minutes 12 seconds East a distance of 30.07 feet to an iron
pin; thence running South 03 degrees 09 minutes 11 seconds West a distance of
32.19 feet to an iron pin; thence running North 88 degrees 49 minutes 39
seconds East a distance of 404.72 feet to an iron pin; thence running North 88
degrees 49 minutes 39 seconds East a distance of 57.5 feet to an iron pin;
thence running along a curve (which curve has a radius of 160.00 feet) a
distance of 75.44 feet to a point; thence running South 72 degrees 06 minutes
37 seconds East a distance of 179.37 feet to an iron pin; thence running South
00 degrees 55 minutes 39 seconds East a distance of 188.34 feet to an iron pin;
thence running North 84 degrees 53 minutes 39 seconds West a distance of 642.94
feet to an iron pin; thence running North 84 degrees 49 minutes 19 seconds West
a distance of 60 feet to an iron pin which marks the POINT OF BEGINNING.

20th day of February, 2007; introduced a second time at a regular meeting of
