WHEREAS, Mrs. Erica Harper former employee with the Public Services Department,
died on April 28, 2007;
WHEREAS, Mrs. Harper retired on January 1, 2006 after serving 3 years with the
Public Services Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mrs. Erica Harper our sincere condolences and
deepest sympathy. Mrs. Harper was an outstanding employee with the Public
Services Department and she will be missed by all who knew her.

WHEREAS, Mr. Larry M. Carter former employee with the Columbus Police
Department/Investigative Services, died on April 20, 2007;
WHEREAS, Mr. Carter retired on December 31, 2001 after serving 31 years with
the Columbus Police Department/Investigative Services.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Larry M. Carter our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Carter was an outstanding employee with the Columbus
Police Department/Investigative Services and he will be missed by all who knew
him.

died on May 6, 2007;
WHEREAS, Mr. Vardman retired on October 31, 1998 after serving 30 years with
the Fire/EMS Department.
NOW, THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby convey to the family of Mr. Roger C. Vardman our sincere condolences
and deepest sympathy. Mr. Vardman was an outstanding employee with the
