A RESOLUTION
No.
WHEREAS, Mark Ellis of Columbus has recently been recognized by Georgia Trend
Magazine as a member of Forty Under Forty;
WHEREAS, Georgia Trend annually recognizes young Georgians who make a
difference through leadership and dedication to family, business, faith and
community;
WHEREAS, Mr. Ellis is Vice-President at SM Ellis Company, a Columbus-based
electrical engineering firm that employs thirty people;
WHEREAS, he also mentors students at Jordan Vocational High School and has a
four year old daughter;
WHEREAS, the accomplishments of Mr. Mark Ellis are worthy of special
recognition by this Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA HEREBY RESOLVES:
We hereby commend and congratulate Mr. Mark Ellis upon being recognized as a
member of Forty Under Forty by Georgia Trend Magazine. Columbus is proud of his
accomplishments and we wish him every success in the future. Let a copy of this
resolution be forwarded to Mr. Mark Ellis.
