I. FY2010 GRANT APPLICATION FOR CAPITAL & PLANNING ASSISTANCE:
Authorization is requested to submit an application and, if approved, accept
$1,867,435 in grant funds from the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) and the
Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) for capital, planning and
operating. An agenda report and resolution are attached. Click here to

II. ONE-TIME WAIVER OF CIVIC CENTER RENTAL FOR COTTONMOUTHS HOCKEY TEAM
AND COLUMBUS LIONS INDOOR FOOTBALL TEAM:
Authorization is requested to implement a one-time waiver of rent paid to the
Civic Center by the Cottonmouths Hockey Team and the Columbus Lions Indoor
Football Team as requested by the Mayor/Council. A resolution is attached.

Scope of RFB
Provide fifty (50) bus shelter panels to be used by the METRA Transit System to
replace broken and worn out panels on existing bus shelters and to add to new
route locations throughout the City.

1. Wynnton Road Master Plan Phase I (And Any Additional Phases Related to this
Project) ? Streetscape Enhancement Program ? RFP No. 09-0015
Scope of RFP
Columbus Consolidated Government (the City), on behalf of Midtown Columbus,
Inc., has received a Transportation Enhancement grant from the state of
Georgia. Phase I (and any additional phases related to this project) will
provide streetscape improvements along a section of Wynnton Road (SR-22). The
project is anticipated to begin at the intersection with Hilton Avenue and
proceed approximately 2,300 feet west to the Peacock Street intersection.
2. Food & Beverage Management Services for Columbus Civic Center ? RFP No.
09-0014
A Mandatory Pre-Proposal Conference will be held at the Columbus Civic Center,
400 4th Street, Columbus, Georgia, for all vendors desiring to submit a
proposal. Vendors shall convene at the Columbus Civic Center Administrative
Office, Ground Floor, East, located across from Parking Lot D.

1. Security Cameras (Annual Contract) - RFB No. 09-0030
Scope of RFB
Columbus Consolidated Government (the City) is requesting bids for security
cameras, which will be installed on buses of Metra Transit System.
Approximately 0?28 cameras will be purchased each year, on an ?as needed?
basis. The City will only consider bids for GE MobileView III Digital Video
Recorder, which is the standardized security camera for Metra Transit System.

1. Cora Drive Storm Drain Rehabilitation ? RFB No. 09-0031
Scope of RFB
This work shall consist of the installation of a new storm drain in the
vicinity of Cora Drive, all in accordance with the designated plans and
specifications. The Contractor shall be required to maintain public access to
all residences located within the project area.

2. Food & Beverage Management Services for Columbus Civic Center (Annual
Contract) ? RFP No. 09-0014
Scope of RFP
Provide all equipment and personnel necessary for the food and beverage
management services at the Columbus Civic Center. The term of this contract
shall be for (2) two years, beginning July 1, 2009, with the option to renew
for three additional one year periods. Contract renewal shall be contingent
upon the mutual agreement of the City and the Contractor.

Scope of RFB
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing ball
field fencing at one field and the installation of a new fence system for same
in accordance with the specifications. The field is more identified within the
park as Little League Field Number Two. Measurements are the responsibility of
the bidder.
