An Ordinance amending the Zoning Atlas of the Consolidated Government
of Columbus, Georgia; this amendment changes certain boundaries of a district
located at 4400 South Stadium Drive from NC (Neighborhood Commercial) District
to GC (General Commercial) District.
THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY ORDAINS:
That the Zoning Atlas on file with the Planning Division of the
Department of Community and Economic Development be, and the same is hereby
amended by changing the following described property from NC (Neighborhood
Commercial) District to GC (General Commercial) District:
All that lot, tract or parcel of land situate, lying and being in Land Lot 2 of
the 8th District and Land Lot 2 of the 9th District of Muscogee County, Georgia
and being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin which marks the southwest intersection of Schomburg
Road and South Stadium Drive thence running south 02 degrees 14 minutes 38
seconds west a distance of 143.55 feet to an iron pin; thence running south 79
degrees 23 minutes 36 seconds west a distance of 1, 033.19 feet to an iron pin;
thence running south 89 degrees 52 minutes 37 seconds west a distance of 701.78
feet to an iron pin; thence running north 81 degrees 27 minutes 49 seconds west
a distance of 501.60 feet to an iron pin; thence running north 89 degrees 56
minutes 13 seconds west a distance of 1,002.56 feet to an iron pin; thence
running north 14 degrees 37 minutes 55 seconds east a distance of 77.21 feet to
an iron pin; thence running south 53 degrees 19 minutes 25 seconds west a
distance of 48.21 feet to an iron pin; thence running north 00 degrees 44
minutes 25 seconds east a distance of 237.80 feet to an iron pin; thence
running south 89 degrees 34 minutes 10 seconds east a distance of 3,237.22 feet
to an iron pin and the original point of beginning.
The above-described property is being rezoned with the following
condition:
1. A ten-foot buffer landscaped with ?Nellie R. Stevens? holly trees shall be
maintained on the north property line of the property subject to rezoning.

held on the 20th day of June, 2006; introduced a second time at a regular
meeting of said Council held on the ___ day of , 2006 and
