TO THE CITY ATTORNEY:
SIGN ORDINANCE:
Have the staff to research the Sign Ordinance to determine if once a
business left a location where there was a tall sign, when the new business
owners moved in that the existing tall sign had to come down and the new sign
would have to be in compliance with the sign ordinance. (Request of Councilor
Woodson)

TO THE CITY MANAGER:
BUDGET REVIEW SESSIONS:
Have the staff to provide for the Budget Review Committee Meeting a report
on the actual dollar amount year to date; since, we are comparing this year?s
budget to last year?s budget. (Request of Mayor Pro Tem Turner Pugh)

FORMER BAKER HIGH SCHOOL:
Have the staff to acquire information on the Economic Stimulus package for
the purpose of receiving funding to transform the old Baker High School into a
Veterans Administration Hospital and to educate us on how to approach the
concept of receiving funding for a Veterans Administration Hospital. (Request
of Councilor Woodson) Also provide her with a DVD copy of this portion of the
Council Meeting. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

SPEEDING:
Have the staff to provide an update on an earlier request to the Police
Department with regards to the traffic crossing at Avondale Road and Howe
Avenue where a speeder left the road and drove into one of our Deputy Marshal?s
home. Provide information on what the City is doing and what is going to
occur. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

EMPLOYEE COMMITTEE:
Have the staff to check into creating an employee committee that discusses
the various products and services provided to the employees, product
satisfaction, etc. and let?s revisit this concept in a work session. (Request
of Councilor Allen)
