I. LEGAL SERVICES FOR RISK MANAGEMENT:
Approval is requested to authorize the payment of attorneys' fees which may be
incurred for legal services rendered regarding Risk Management issues during
Fiscal Year 2017.
II. JUVENILE COURT CARRYOVER REQUEST:
Approval is requested to use $50,000 of fiscal year 2016 salary savings
and $20,000 in operational savings from Juvenile Court to fund construction
costs related to converting space allocated to Juvenile Drug Court into a
second juvenile court courtroom and second judicial conference room in fiscal
year 2017.
III. DONATION OF VOTING EQUIPMENT FROM ADAMS COUNTY, COLORADO:
Approval is requested to accept a donation of voting equipment from
Adams County, Colorado to be used for elections in Muscogee County, Georgia and
to accept the $40,000 donation from the Community Foundation of the
Chattahoochee Valley, Inc.
IV. FALL LINE TRACE RIVER LINK PRELIMINARY PROJECT APPROVAL:
Approval is requested to authorize a Preliminary Project Approval for
the Fall Line Trace River Link that provides the opportunity to expand our
trail system thru a public/private partnership. The design and surveying for
this project has been provided to the City at no cost and the construction for
the Fall Line Trace River Link will be funded by the SPLOST estimated at
$2,400.000.

Scope of Bid
Provide construction services to widen 2.21 miles of Forrest Road, from Floyd
Road to Schatulga Road. All work shall be performed in accordance with
standard specifications of the Georgia Department of Transportation, current
edition, as approved by the Federal Highway Administration.

Scope of RFP
Provide Columbus Consolidated Government with Auctioneer Services on an
?as needed? basis. The contract term will be for two (2) years, with the
option to renew for three (3) additional 12-month periods.

1. South Lumpkin Trail Phase II ? RFB No. 17-0002
Scope of Bid
Construct the proposed bridge for the South Lumpkin Tail across U.S. 27 and 280
(Victory Drive) in Columbus, GA. The work primarily involves installation of
sidewalk, street pavement, concrete curb and gutters, and construction of a
pedestrian and bike friendly bridge with landscaping.
Bidders are required to be pre-qualified or registered subcontractors with
Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT); Bidders submitting bids in excess
of $2,000,000.00 must be prequalified with GDOT; Subcontractors shall be
pre-qualified or registered with GDOT.
2. Athletic Uniforms (Annual Contract) ? RFB No. 17-0003
Scope of Bid
Provide athletic uniforms, to include basketball and boxing uniforms, on an ?as
needed? basis to the Columbus Parks and Recreation Division. The contract term
will be for two (2) years, with the option to renew for three (3) additional
12-month periods.
