MERITOROIUS RESOLUTIONS:



Have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council?s

appreciation to Coach Sam Mitchell of the Toronto Raptors for what he does with

the Sam Mitchell Dream & Achieve Youth Basketball Camp here in Columbus.

(Request of Councilor Davis)



Also, have the staff to prepare a resolution expressing the Council?s

appreciation to Rod Hood and what he does for the Rod Hood Football Camp here

in Columbus. Let?s also draft a resolution for the Bobby Howard Baseball Camp,

if there was one held this year. (Request of Councilor Anthony)

CRITERIA FOR SEWER LINES:



Have the staff to provide information from the Columbus Water Works as to

what are the criteria for installing sewer lines in different parts of the

community. (Request of Councilor Woodson)

TAX ASSESSOR?S OFFICE:



During one of the Council?s upcoming Work Sessions, have the staff to

arrange a presentation from the Tax Assessor?s office explaining the process of

how property values are assessed. As part of this presentation, also include in

it what are the things that can lower or increase your taxes. (Request of

Councilor Woodson)

APARTMENTS BURNED ON VICTORY DRIVE:



Have the staff to provide some additional information regarding the status

of the apartments that were burned on Victory Drive several months ago; let?s

determine who is the legal owner of the property. (Request of Councilor

Woodson)

DRESS CODE FOR TAXICAB DRIVERS:



Have the staff to determine whether or not there is a dress code for

taxicab drivers. (Request of Councilor Anthony)

SURVEY FOR WELLBORN DRIVE:



Have the staff to provide information with regard to his request for a

survey on the traffic and traffic concerns expressed by the citizens on

Wellborn & Cecila Drive. Also, let?s look at the traffic on Emerson Avenue as

well. (Request of Councilor Barnes)
