O R D I N A N C E S:



(1) 2nd Reading - An Ordinance extending the moratorium on the consideration or

approval of special exception uses for any Type II and Type III personal care

homes as required by Section 3.1.1 of the Unified Development Ordinance enacted

by Ordinance 18-42 by an additional 120 days; providing that said moratorium as

extended shall expire no later than midnight on, April 25, 2019; and for other

purposes. (Councilors Davis and Garrett)



(2) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending the budgets for the Fiscal Year 2018

beginning July 1, 2017 and ending June 30, 2018, for certain funds of the

Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia, appropriating amounts shown in

each fund; and for other purposes. (Budget Review Committee)



(3) 2nd Reading - An ordinance amending ordinance 98-30, 00-106, 01-29, and

08-69 for the readoption of the existing Enterprise Zone known as the Columbus

Business Development Center for a ten-year period; and for other purposes.

(4) 1st Reading - An ordinance amending Section 4-63 of the Columbus Code to

provide that the Columbus Aquatics Commission will meet bimonthly instead of

R E S O L U T I O N S:



(5) A resolution authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the Plan Sponsor, to

execute the First Amendment to Columbus Consolidated Government 457 Deferred

Compensation Plan (as restated May 13, 2016) to become effective upon

adoption. (Updated from Council Meeting on 12/4/2018) (Councilor Allen)



(6) A resolution authorizing approval of the request for Columbus Tire Co., an

expansion located at 3109 Victory Drive, to receive tax abatements under the

State of Georgia Enterprise Zone Act. (Councilor Woodson)



(7) ADD-ON: A resolution requesting the local legislative delegation to the

Georgia General Assembly introduce state-wide legislation that will require

minimum staffing of two trained supervisors or managers between the hours of

6:00 pm and 6:00 am at child-caring institutions, foster care homes, and

personal care homes; and for other purposes. (Councilor Davis)
