Columbus Consolidated Government Night

April 4, 2009

7:30PM

Columbus Civic Center

Columbus Lions versus Baltimore Mariners

The Columbus Lions are quite proud to be one of the ?anchor? tenants along with

the Columbus Cottonmouths in the Columbus Civic Center. We will continue to

bring value to the Columbus community that is fun, entertaining and supports a

high level of value for the Columbus Community families to include:

Literacy Alliance

Partners in Education

Children?s? Miracle Network

Fellowship of Christian Athletes Bible Studies

The ?Prevent Defense? Defibrillator Program with the Muscogee County School

District Athletic Department and 20 high schools and middle schools

The ?Armed Services Blood Program?

The ?DARE? Program in conjunction with the Victim Witness Program

To name a few:

One of the key success factors for the Columbus Lions and our 100% local

ownership group is the support of the Columbus Consolidated Government and its

employees. We would like to thank you for your most recent support and

recognition. In response to this support, the Columbus Lions would like to

declare Saturday, April 4th, Columbus Consolidated Government Night at the

Columbus Civic Center as we host the Baltimore Mariners. Our theme will

recognize the ?Going Green? initiative of Columbus. The Columbus Lions will

wear green jerseys that evening which will be auctioned at the end of the game

when the Columbus Civic Center field will be opened to all city employees and

their families and guests. The game will also have a ?green? impact to

Columbus Consolidated Government employees as they will save ?green? by being

admitted free with their city identification and discount tickets being offered

for their family and friends. In fact, the Columbus Lions, Columbus Civic

Center and Aramark will add to the ?green? savings by making a concession

coupon available to all employees who bring a minimum of 3 guests.

In closing, we thank the Columbus Consolidated Government for their support.

Mr. Mayor and Council, we expect each of you and your families there leading

the cheers for the Columbus Lions and being part of the ?Columbus Green

Machine? on Saturday, April 4th, 7:30PM at the Columbus Civic Center.

Thank you,

The Columbus Lions
