A Resolution Authorizing THE EXECUTION OF A QUIT CLAIM DEED TO ST. PAUL UNITED METHODIST CHURCH FOR
ABANDONMENT OF THE ALLEY LOCATED ALONG THE REAR OF THE CHURCH PROPERTIES AT
1928 FOREST AVENUE (A/K/A 185-023-001) AND 2011 WILDWOOD AVENUE (A/K/A
185-023-015), IN COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the City has no present or future use for the alley; and,
whereas, St. Paul United Methodist Church wishes to include the said portions of the
alley with the above adjoining properties; and,
WHEREAS, all public utilities have sent written confirmation stating that they
have no present or future use for the alley; and,
WHEREAS, the Engineering Department has checked the alley and
approves abandonment of said portions of the alley.

That the City Manager is hereby authorized by the Council of Columbus, to
execute a Quit Claim Deed that consists of 81.47 ft x 15 ft. +/- and 28.83 ft.
x 7.5 ft. +/-, in said alley portions at 1928 Forest Avenue (a/k/a 185 023 001)
and 2011 Wildwood Avenue (a/k/a 185 023 015), which are hereby abandoned to St.
Paul United Methodist Church. A copy of said Quit Claim Deed is also hereto
attached and by reference made a part of this Resolution.
