A Resolution Authorizing THE PURCHASE OF ORCHARD GROVE MOBILE HOME PARK 19.4 +/- ACRES OF PROPERTY

LOCATED AT 304 SOUTH LUMPKIN ROAD ON CUSSETTA ROAD (PARCELS 061-001-003 AND

161-001-004) FROM ORCHARD GROVE PARK, LLC. whereas, the 1999 SPLOST project includes the development of Oxbow Meadows Park; and,
whereas, the redevelopment of the Oxbow Grove Mobile Home Park is critical to the

success of the redevelopment of this area; and,
WHEREAS, the purchase price of $1,050,000 includes the removal of all mobile

homes on the property; and,

WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $1,050,000 are available in the 1999 SPLOST

Funds.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to:

1. Purchase 19.4 +/- acres of property known as Orchard Grove Mobile Home Park

located at 304 South Lumpkin Road (Parcels 061-001-003 and 061-001-004) from

Orchard Grove Park, LLC in the amount of $1,050,000; and,

2. Fund said purchase from 1999 SPLOST Funds from

0540-695-2135-50605-TXOM-20040-7611.
