A Resolution Authorizing THE ACQUISITION OF A PARCEL OF PROPERTY LAYING ADJACENT TO CITY OWNED PROPERTY

THAT WILL ALLOW ASSEMBLAGE FOR FUTURE DEVELOPMENT KNOWN AS TAX MAP PARCEL

007-012-016 A/K/A 7 25TH STREET, COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the above described property is to be used for future development; and,
whereas, the property is available for sale; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of

Columbus, Georgia to purchase the property; and,

WHEREAS, it has been determined the price of $3,000.00 is fair and equitable.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to:

1. Purchase the property located at 7 25th Street a/k/a 007-012-016 for the

amount of $3,000.00; and,

2. File the Warranty Deed with Superior Court Clerk for permanent record.
