A Resolution Authorizing THE PURCHASE OF FOUR PROPERTIES LAYING ADJACENT TO THE RIVERWALK ON RIVERSIDE

AVENUE LYING BETWEEN 27TH STREET AND 25TH STREET WEST OF 1ST AVENUE KNOWN AS,

TAX MAP PARCEL 007-011-001,7,8,9 & 11, COLUMBUS, MUSCOGEE COUNTY, GEORGIA. whereas, the above described properties are to be used for future development; and,

WHEREAS, the property is available for sale; and,
whereas, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia

to purchase the property; and,

WHEREAS, it has been determined the price of $60,000.00 is fair and

equitable.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to:

1. Purchase the property located between 27th Street and 25th Street West of

1st Avenue for the amount of $60,000.00; and

2. File the Warranty Deed with Superior Court Clerk for permanent record.
