A Resolution Authorizing TO DECLARE 3060 MACON ROAD A/K/A 067 024 022A OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY NEAR THE

NEW COLUMBUS LIBRARY AS SURPLUS, AND AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF SAID PROPERTY. whereas, the property consist of 5.085 +/- acres and has been in the possession of the

City for more then three year; and,
whereas, the property is located behind the new Columbus Library and the old Sears

Roebuck; and,
WHEREAS, the fair market value of the property is $1,247,000 and will be

transferred by Quit Claim Deed; and,

WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the Consolidated Government of Columbus,

Georgia to sell property on 3060 Macon Road a/k/a 067 024 022A as surplus

property.

NOW, THEREFORE, THE COUNCIL OF COLUMBUS, GEORGIA, HEREBY RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS:

That the City Manager is hereby authorized to declare 3060 Macon Road a/k/a 067

024 022A as surplus and authorize the sale and advertisement of said property

The appraised fair market value of the property is $1,247,000. The property

will be transferred by Quit Claim Deed.
